Police are seeking a man filmed throwing wreaths off a war memorial in Hampshire.

They launched an investigation after film of the incident was posted on YouTube.

A Hampshire Police spokesman said: ‘We’re investigating criminal damage to poppy wreaths around the Cenotaph in Watts Park, Southampton, at about 3.30pm on November 25.

‘Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting 44160445628.’
