STORYTELLING: Wrap up warmly and go between different historic buildings to listen to old tales around the fire at the Weald and Downland Museum. Singleton, Chichester, tomorrow and Sunday 10.30am-4pm.

GIG: New Orleans’ music inspired Brass Volacanoes’ as well as other cultures and genres. See them erupt.

CHILDREN’S SHOW: Madcap entertainer John Hinton’s Ensonglopedia Of Animals – 26 songs, one for each letter of the alphabet – will enchant little ones from the age of five upwards. Minerva Theatre, Chichester, tomorrow, 11am and 2pm.

COMEDY: The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue head the line-up for a night of comedy which also features Juliet Myers. MC Jeff Lane attempts to keep order. Emsworth Sports and Social Club, Havant Road, tonight, 8pm.

JAPERY: Award-winning local comedian James Alderson brings his solo show Bring Back The ’80s to Portsmouth. Sit back for a night of pure nostalgia. Portsmouth Guildhall, tonight, 8.30pm.
