The Southsea Alternative Choir are going back to their busking roots at Wedgewood Rooms gig in aid of Motiv8
and live on Freeview channel 276
The band was originally formed by local musician friends who went busking around Southsea at Christmas in 2010 to help raise money for an operation for a friend’s son. After hitting their target for their friend, they carried on and have gone on to raise more than £60,000 for various good causes.
The band are regulars at Victorious Festival and their annual Christmas shows are legendary.

‘All proceeds from the night go to Motiv8 South, a wonderful local charity dedicated to helping young people suffering from mental health issues. It's gonna be one hell of a night!’
They are supported by The Day Of The Rabblement, who are also joining the choir onstage along with Tash Hills.
They play The Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea, on Saturday, December 17. Tickets are £10. Go to wedgewood-rooms.co.uk.
