As the rain lashed down in the second period, the hosts were guilty of some bad challenges, and Portsmouth’s Lauren Stewart was shown a green card for an over-zealous tackle.
Turvey also picked up a two-minute suspension for dissent.
Nadia Moore preserved Portsmouth’s clean sheet with a goal-line stoppage, before she joined in the goal spree at the other end.
Further strikes came from Stewart (2) and Turvey as Portsmouth opened up a two-point lead over Wimborne, whose own 100 per cent start was ended in a 2-2 draw with Andover.

Michell Hughes struck the only goal as Portsmouth 4ths remained joint-top of Division 6.
She deflected in a shot from Zoe Main to give her side a fourth straight win, 1-0 at a Trojans 6ths XI who did not have a goalkeeper.

A first half goal from Evie Chapman gave Portsmouth 5ths a 1 -0 home victory over Southampton University 3rds.
The students improved as an attacking force in the second half, but keeper Helen Perriam kept a clean sheet with some fine saves.
