Milestone celebrations and a Stubbington Green takeover at Lee-on-the-Solent parkrun
It was a big success with 392 finishers.
Stubbington Green's Andrew Stockwell completed his 250th parkrun.
He has done 60 of those at Lee and 66 at Netley Abbey, also with 16 at Whiteley.

Hide AdAs well as these he has visited many other parkruns with lots of tourism making up his tally.
Stubbington Green Runners had a team of pacers for the 179th Lee parkrun and filled all the volunteer roles on the roster.

The club are always big supporters of parkrun and it is a good way for more people to find out about what they offer in terms of events and training.

Hide AdThey host their Stubbington 10k race in January and it is always one of the biggest running events in the area.
Rob Greenwood finished in first position on Saturday and it was his 99th parkrun.
He ran a time of 17min 29sec while Nikki Moxham was the first female finisher as she completed the 5k in 18.39. It was her 103rd parkrun and she has done 102 of them at Lee.
Everyone enjoyed the celebrations with Pamela Davies and Amanda Ferris both completing their 100th parkruns.

Hide AdElaine Chapelhow joined the 50 milestone club, while Gareth Darch, David Scaife and Alison Hesselberth also reached the half century of parkruns.
Meanwhile, at Whiteley parkrun James Grove led the way with a time of 18.22.
It was the 83rd Whiteley parkrun and 238 people completed the 5k.
Sophie Stoneham finished first lady as she ran the 5k course in a new personal best time of 20.56.
Adam Barlow finished first in the 139th Fareham parkrun.

Hide AdHe recorded a time of 17.28, while Pete Abrahams was second in 17.32 and Paul Mitchinson was third in 17.41.
Fareham Crusaders runner Emlyn Hughes got a new personal best of 18.32 to finish in fourth position.
Rebecca Hughes, of Portsmouth Triathletes, was the first female finisher.
She completed the course in a time of 22.29.
City of Portsmouth youngster Milly Laing ran the 5k in 24.38 and she was the second female.
Debbie Taylor, of Fareham Crusaders, was third with 24.43.

Hide AdLee-on-the-Solent parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9am.
The course starts at Marine Parade East and is a flat out-and-back route.
It does include a small shingle section and when the weather is good it provides fantastic views across the Solent.
All parkruns rely on volunteers to ensure they can take place every weekend.
