The Blues will be aiming to take another promotion rivals’ scalp after wins earlier in the season at Lincoln and Sunderland.
Kenny Jackett’s men have already made the visit to Portman Road this term.
Last month, they clinched a 3-2 victory after extra-time in what was an exciting FA Cup first-round tie.
Pompey head to East Anglia in confident mood after beating Peterborough United 2-0 at Fratton Park last week.
And they also have Michael Jacobs back fit, having recovered from the knee injury he suffered at Sunderland in October.
But how will Jackett’s side line-up against the Tractor Boys?
Scroll down to see how we think will feature from the outset and be on the Blues’ bench.
1. Goalkeeper - Craig MacGillivray
The Scot would have relished a first league clean sheet since October against Peterborough last week and will be looking for the same again at Ipswich. Photo: PinPeP
2. Right-back - Callum Johnson
Improved significantly in the second half against Peterborough after his crossing let him down in the opening 45 minutes. Will be aiming for a complete 90-minute performance and has Haji Mnoga pushing him. Photo: Joe Pepler
3. Centre-back - Jack Whatmough
Bagged his first Fratton Park goal last weekend and will be full of confidence. Photo: .
4. Centre-back - Sean Raggett
Really hit his stride in the past couple of weeks and is making it impossible for Rasmus Nicolaisen to get into the team. Photo: Joe Pepler
