Both impressed the judging panel following a superb September which saw the Blues end the month top of the table.Â

His side picked up wins over Plymouth, Peterborough and Rochdale, while they were held at Fratton Park by Shrewsbury and Wycombe.Â
Also in the reckoning for the Manager of the Month prize is Doncaster boss Grant McCann, Accrington manager John Coleman and Charlton's Lee Boywer.
Lowe played a key role in Pompey's rise to the top of League One.Â

He was on target in the 3-0 victory over Plymouth, the 2-1 success at Peterborough and Saturday's 3-1 triumph against Rochdale.Â
Lowe also teed-up Ronan Curtis' first goal against the Pilgrims, as well as Gareth Evans and Brett Pitman's efforts in the 2-2 draw with Wycombe.
The ex-Hampton & Richmond man is up against ex-Blues forward John Marquis (Doncaster), Jay Spearing (Blackpool) and Kieffer Moore (Barnsley) for the Player of the Month accolade.Â
