Winchester bus crash: Recap updates as children taken to hospital with serious injuries after school bus crashes into bridge

The collision happened in Wellhouse Lane, Winchester, and the road remains closed in both directions.
Emergency services have been attending the scene.
A police spokeswoman has said that three children have been taken to hospital with serious injuries, while 13 others have been treated by paramedics at the scene.
None of the injuries are life-threatening.

Hide AdThe vehicle crashed into the railway bridge near Foresters Park.
ROMANSE, Hampshire County Council’s traffic account, have said that there are delays as a result of the incident.
In a tweet the account added: ‘#Winchester - Well House Lane remains CLOSED in both directions due to a bus hitting a bridge near Foresters Park, closure between B3420 Andover Road North & Springvale Road #HeadbourneWorthy.’
Nine hours after the crash, Wellhouse Lane has now reopened in both directions.
