Major delays on A27 near Portsmouth as roadworks overrun

COMMUTERS have been stuck in heavy traffic on the A27 this morning after roadworks overan.

Traffic has built up on the eastbound carriageway past the junction for the A3(M), and is queuing back to the end of the M27 in Portsmouth.

It is believed that the traffic is being caused by road works on the Havant Bypass.
