A BROKEN down vehicle has caused delays westbound on the M27.

The vehicle was blocking lane three just after Junction Nine at Whiteley, creating delays of over 45 minutes.

According to @ROMANSE on Twitter, the car has now been cleared from the road, though traffic will remain slow.
