Hide AdMike Pink, disability development co-ordinator for Pompey in the Community, said: ‘The idea for the day is to promote amputee football to give it a greater profile, and to encourage new players to give it a go.’
There will be three teams that will compete against each other for their national league, a taster session for new people to give amputee football a go, and plenty of football-related activities to keep spectators entertained.
Portsmouth Enablement Centre is one of only 40 centres providing a service across the UK.
