The 1905 loco that pulled the royal train is still in action
Turns out it is Waterloo station pictured about 1905 before it was overhauled after the First World War.
Tony Holley, of Billy Lawn Avenue, Havant, was able to identify the locomotive on the right, No 120.

Hide AdIt belonged to class T9 and he says: ‘It was a general use locomotive, but when needed was used to haul the royal trains.
‘It was painted green and kept in tip-top condition.
‘It is currently part of The National Collection at York Railway Museum.’
Tony adds: ‘It spent some time on loan to The Watercress Line where it was restored to running condition and it is now on loan to The Swanage Railway in Dorset hauling passenger trains.’
