Club member, Ian DuCane, said: '˜This year the team chose to raise funds for our local lifeboat station at Eastney. We regularly row past their slipway and boathouse as we head out of Langstone Harbour and it is a comforting thought that they are there should anything go wrong.'
The club handed over the cheque in a presentation which took place at Eastney Station.
