Portsmouth celebrates unity and diversity in the world
Portsmouth will be raising the Commonwealth Flag in Guildhall Square to mark Commonwealth Day on Monday.
It will be one of more than 850 raised in locations across the world.

Hide AdThe event is part of an international initiative to celebrate the value of the Commonwealth in promoting inclusiveness and integrating diversity among cultures and communities.
The initiative, now in its third year, will be attended by the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, representatives from some of the Commonwealth countries, councillors, invited guests and local schoolchildren. The event will start at 9.55am.
There will be a message from His Excellency Kamalesh Sharma, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.
