Portsmouth lifeboat launched to support 'inappropriately dressed' paddle boarders

Portsmouth Lifeboat Station deployed its Atlantic lifeboat at 9.38pm after concerns were raised that ‘the paddle boarders were not appropriately dressed’.
By the time the Atlantic crew arrived the paddle boarders had made their he way back to the shore. One of the crew members was dropped ashore to check on their welfare and to also advise the boarders about wearing appropriate clothing when carrying out activities on the sea.
