- HMS Queen Elizabeth left her home port of Portsmouth on August 18Â for her maiden voyage to the US, ahead of trialling F-35B Lightning fighter jets.

Hide Ad- The Royal Navy carrier arrived at its first port of call in Mayport, Florida on Wednesday, September 5, after 18 days at sea.
- It is understood bar staff and business owners had not been warned about the carrier's arrival.
- Social media posts on Wednesday night, including one claiming to be run by a police officer in Florida, mentioned navy sailors were being kicked out of bars and had urinated from a balcony.Â
-Â Jacksonville Beach Police Department confirmed arrests had been made, and a local jail said it was holding sailors on Friday afternoon.

-Â Three of the six were also held over resisting arrest.
- The Royal Navy has said personnel were assisting police in the US.
