Families invited to free cycle event in Portsmouth
The Pedal Portsmouth Family Festival gives people the chance to enjoy cycling without the worry of vehicles.
The day will have lots of free activities including a 3km cycle course, a safari nature trail, a bike assault course, ‘bling your bike’ activities and lots more.
There will also be space for picnics.

Hide AdCouncillor Donna Jones, leader of Portsmouth City Council, said: ‘This is the second year we are running a Pedal Portsmouth event.
‘It is aimed at getting children and young people cycling in a safe environment, to allow them to build confidence.
‘Portsmouth is one of the fastest growing cycling cities in the UK. It is an ideal place to enjoy on a bike whether you are an experienced cyclist or a beginner.
‘We hope this event will give many people the confidence to cycle more regularly.’

Hide AdThe event at Lakeside North Harbour, off Western Road, in Cosham, is on Sunday, July 3. It is from 11am until 3pm.
