Mum from Portsmouth named Royal Navy's top female sailor for work helping families
Inspirational Rebecca Fyans, of Portsmouth was hailed the Naval Servicewoman of the Year.
The Leading Writer was praised by the Senior Service for being a champion for families with disabled children, both inside the military and on ‘civvy street’.

Hide AdRebecca, whose son Sebby was born with Down’s syndrome in 2013, has been a stalwart disabilities campaigner in Portsmouth.
Over the past year the mother-of-two has taken on a new role, helping to set up a network for military families living with – all while serving in the navy.
The naval accolade comes after Rebecca was made an MBE last year for her commitment to disability and inclusion.
