Hide AdIt comes less than a month after Mr Morgan wrote to Portsmouth City Council leader Donna Jones, calling for a clampdown on the crime – following an attempted break-in at Johnny Black Photography in Vincent Road.
The incident put the store on a long list of Southsea retailers to have been struck by crime over the past two years.
On Thursday night, Mr Morgan will be joined by George Fielding of the city’s Labour party to discuss the problems.
In a letter of invitation sent to residents of Central Southsea, Mr Fielding said: ‘If you have any concerns or ideas so that together we can bring down crime affecting our community and small businesses, please do get in touch.’
