Popular Milton builder Patrick Erridge, 50, was left horrified after finding out his LDV Maxus had been breached in Locksway Road on Sunday night April 12 despite having deadlocks attached.
It meant essential long-standing tools used for his work over many years were lost - with his agony compounded by not having any insurance.

Over £2,500 has been raised already of the £2,000 total from a Go Fund Me campaign, leaving the father-of-three ‘overwhelmed’ by the support received, especially with the UK in the grip of coronavirus.
Patrick, whose wife Julia passed away in February aged 47 after 27 years of marriage, said: ‘I am so humbled and grateful for everyone’s support especially in these hard times.
‘I’m a very proud man and had no idea my daughter set up a funding page. I feel very privileged that people would do this for me.’

‘I’ve got deadlocks on the van so it’s beyond me how they managed to get in. They must be very clever. At first I thought they must have come in the house to get my keys before getting in the van.’
Patrick’s daughter posted on Go Fund Me: ‘This is all we need as a family my dad is now raising his three children on his own due to the tragic loss of our beautiful mother. We are struggling as it is.
‘We are just looking for the kindness of your heart to help my dad buy back what has been stolen from him, anything will help please and thank you.’
