Hide AdAs reported earlier today, Lisa Blagden is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old, of Eastern Road in Milton, Portsmouth, had been charged with concealing the birth of the girl between December 27 in 2019 and January 25 last year.
The charge alleges she ‘endeavoured to conceal the birth of a child of which you had been delivered by the secret disposition of the dead body of the said child’.
A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘Our enquiries throughout 2020 did not identify any evidence of a criminal act in relation to the death of the baby girl.’
