Boy, 14, taken to hospital after hit-and-run in Havant
The 14-year-old boy was crossing Purbrook Way near to the junction with Botley Drive, Havant, at 7.50am when he hit by a small red van which police say didn’t stop at the scene.
The youngster was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, where he was treated for minor injuries, including cuts and bruises.

Hide AdPC Rob Giles, said: ‘I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened. Did you see a small red van with ladders on the roof in the area? Do you know anyone who is living or working near by with a vehicle that fits this description?
‘I would also like to appeal directly to the driver of the van. Please make contact with us.’
