SOUTHSEA GREEN: We'd be overwhelmed without our green spaces

Southsea is, and always has been, a busy, bustling place. Without our green spaces and, of course, the glorious sea it could feel a little overwhelming.

These places give us a sense of space, connection and a chance to breathe. The space is not only a physical thing but is perhaps even more valuable when we think of how they can create space and bring peace to our often frantic minds.

This week has seen some very changeable weather. I’ve often felt the sea reflects how we feel, whether that be unsettled and changeable or still and calm. There is magic in those waves. We connect with water and earth and it brings so many of us great joy to be working with or in the presence of both.
