The Luna Park sculpture was brought to Portsmouth on July 31, 2010 and towered 53ft (16m) over the seafront.
The artwork delighted residents and visitors alike and they were devastated when it was suddenly destroyed in a blaze on October 1, just before it was going on tour.
To mark 10 years since Luna Park, Aspex Gallery – which installed the sculpture – has created a virtual reality experience of the dinosaur to bring back memories of it on the Common.
Joanne Bushnell, director of the Aspex Gallery, said: ‘It’s been quite difficult and dark times really and we just thought this is an opportunity to share a bit of light.
