New route links region by air to capital of Bavaria
Bmi regional has now launched its eagerly-awaited Southampton to Munich route.

‘We already have a very strong route between Bristol and Munich and a number of onward connections from Munich into other European destinations.

Connecting to Munich means that passengers can reach more than 200 worldwide destinations thanks to bmi regional’s codeshare agreement with Lufthansa.

Hide AdPassengers also have the option to check their baggage from the departure point to the final destination.

Scheduled air services to Munich have been requested by businesses in the local region as well as by holiday makers in Germany looking to start their cruises from Southampton.
‘Munich is also the home of many major companies that have links with our region, including Airbus and BMW. We look forward to welcoming bmi to Southampton Airport for what promises to be a successful route.’
