United go for back-to-back wins
HAYILNG United visit Alresford Town tonight (Tuesday) full of confidence after their 2-1 win at Bournemouth at the weekend.
Manager Mark Poulton is boosted by the return of some of his senior players for the Wessex League Premier Division clash (KO 7.45pm).
Striker Lenny Burney is back from suspension while Charlie Walker flew home from a family skiing holiday in time to go straight back into United's depleted defence.
Winger Billy Huntley has also recovered from illness while Mark Greenway, who was missing at the weekend through work commitments are also available to boost Poulton's options.
Paulsgrove veteran Steve Leigh has signed dual forms with Hayling and could feature after an inspired performance in the 2-1 defeat inflicted by the Humbugs in the Portsmouth Senior Cup semi-final last weekend.
Poulton said: "Unless we can win at Alresford, our great result at the weekend will count for little.
"We have signed Steve Leigh so we can use his experience," added Poulton.
Another three points on the road should go a long way towards removing any relegation fears at the College Ground, which is due to host another five matches this month.
