Third defeat in a row for Humbugs

HAYLING United's poor start continued as they suffered a 4-0 beating at Bemerton Heath Harlequins, on Saturday.

The Humbugs never recovered after conceding three goals in the opening half-hour as they slipped to their second successive defeat of the new season in the Wessex League Premier Division.

Josh Warren was the only United player to trouble the hosts with his neat control and movement.

It has been a tough start for new United manager Lee Paul with his side yet to take a point, and having been knocked out of the FA Cup at home by Blackfield and Langley last week.
