Cottle captain for top-of-table clash
HAYLING face the only other unbeaten team in County Divsion Four South of the Hampshire League on Saturday.
Promotion rivals Rowner who have tied one of their eight matches arrive at West Town's Hayling Park, where the hosts will be without captain Phil Mist.
But they are boosted by the return of opening batsmen Neil Blackey, who has been out injured since making a century in the opening game of the season, early in May.
And another in-form batsman - the hard-hitting Sam Thompson - is back for the top-of-the-table clash after missing last week's win when he went to watch England lose their one-day international match against Australia at Lord's.
Thompson said: "This is a big game and we are very much up for it.
"We had a convincing win over a good Michelmarsh & Timsbury side last weekend and at the moment we feel we can beat anybody."
Graham Cottle takes over as skipper for the day in the absence of Mist.
Rowner are boosted by the return of bowler Greg Butler from injury.
The Gosport club's captain Jim Kemp said: "We are at full strength so it should be a cracking contest."
