College kids retain Under 16s real tennis title

THE Hayling College's Ben Wall and John Cobon retained the British Schools' U16s Real Tennis Championship.

Ben and John travelled to Oxford to compete against some of the UK's top public schools including Radley, Eton, Rugby and Portsmouth Grammar School, at the end of January.

Ben and John both play at Hayling's Seacourt club but it was the first time they had played as a doubles partnership.

Fellow Seacourt members Jess Garside and Giles Gunning represented Portsmouth Grammar School and finished third.

The Hayling College are extremely proud to have kept the title for another year and congratulated the pair on their achievement.
