HAYLING United suffered a 4-1 defeat at Blackfield & Langley despite putting in an improved performance, on Satuday.
After their humiliating 8-1 defeat at Wimborne in midweek, United struck first through Lenny Burney who scored direct from a corner.

United then committed some costly mistakes to allow the home side to take charge as the visitors ending up conceding their 12th game in two away trips.

Boss Mark Poulton said: "We went ahead and looked in total control after 15 minutes,' said manager Mark Poulton, below left.

"For some reason we stopped playing and let them back into the game."

The home side scored twice before half-time before adding another couple in the second half.

"We need to work out how to close games down but because we are a young side we pay for our inexperience at times," Poulton added.
