HAYLING United travel to Blackfield & Langley looking to restore some pride after their 8-1 midweek humiliation at Wimborne Town.
With a big fixture back log to clear and a small squad, the Humbugs need to pick up something from the trip against one of the Wessex Premier League's strugglers, to avoid being sucked into a relegation battle in the coming weeks.

United boss Mark Poulton said before Saturday's trip to the Fawley club: 'We need to make a massive improvement.

"I will have to put the result down to the fact we hadn't trained or played for nearly eight weeks.

"Disappointingly, though, we just capitulated and I can't accept that.

"We pride ourselves on our work ethic and togetherness as a team but it wasn't evident in midweek.

"If players don't improve then they won't be picked.

"If we go to Blackfield with the same attitude we could easily find ourselves on the end of another hammering."

United are still without suspended midfielder George Way, who still has three matches to sit out after being sent off before Christmas, which earned him a four-match ban.

Hayling United v Blackfield & Langley (KO 3pm): Harrop; Greenway, Haywood, Taylor, Oliver, Salter-Vaile, Wall, Case, Burney, Gillman, Huntley, Paxton, Walker.
