THE Citizens Advice drop-in service re-opened at new premises at Mengham'sUnited Reformed Church, in the middle of September.
Havant and District Citizens Advice Bureau chief executive Richard Solly said: "After a short suspension of the service that previously operated from the Health Centre, in Elm Grove, we are delighted to inform our clients that our service has recomme
nced."

The new weekly drop-in service is available every Wednesday from 10am-2pm, at The South Hayling URC, in Hollow Lane.

A comprehensive advice resource is also available at www.adviceguide.org.uk

The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice and by influencing policymakers.

Out of the 26,000 people who work in the Citizens Advice service, 20,000 (78 per cent) are volunteers.

Volunteers come from all communities, all ages and all backgrounds and bring valuable skills to the service.

Volunteers are vital to the running of the service and bureaux always need more volunteers to become advisers, campaigners, fundraisers, administrators and trustees.

In particular, a volunteer receptionist is required at our Hayling outreach.

If you are interested in volunteering with Havant and District CAB call 9271 7717, email hr@havantcab.org.uk or call the volunteer hotline on 0845 126 4264 (local rate).
