FLYING instructor Peter Marie Joseph passed away on September 15 at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.
The cremation was held at Chichester Crematorium on October 3 after a humanist service.
Peter was accorded a formation fly past from his friends at Goodwood Flying School, where he had taught.

It was very moving and Peter would have loved it, and it was very much appreciated by one and all.

Peter moved to Hayling in 1964 and eventually ended living at St Anne's Court for the past 35 years, where he was chairman for a long period.

I would like to say a big thank you to my family, also Peter's family, Bernie and Pauline and all the friends who gave so willingly of their time and energy, to help at this very difficult time.

My thanks also go to all the staff at Ann ward at QA, Kevin and Carol Catterall and many others who helped Peter while he fought Bulbar Palsy (motor neurone).

We will all miss you Peter for different reasons.

Rest in peace bud, much love from Mary.
