YOUNGSTERS got to ride on a tractor and eat delicious freshly-made ice cream on a trip to a farm.
Northney Farm, on Hayling Island, played host to 12 visitors from the charity Chernobyl Children’s Life Line yesterday.
They are staying with families in the Portsmouth and Havant areas and taking trips out each day to attractions such as the farm and Butlins.
Marion Stapley is the co-ordinator for the south.
She said: ‘We had a brilliant time. The children loved it. As a charity we rely on the kindness of other people to make the children’s time here special.’
