Winter wonderland - your pictures

READERS have been sending us their pictures when Hayling Island was transfomed into a winter wonderland.

From Hayling Golf Club which was closed for more than a week as snow more than a foot deep covered the links course next to the beach, to people who made the most of their time off work after blizzard that struck in the early evening of January 5 by building snowmen at various points around the Island.

Among those affected were the Island's weekend railway which had to suspend public services during the snow.

Here is a selection of the pictures you have been sending us.
