Seafront road need resurfacing after weather damage

AN ACCESS road to the seafront at Hayling Island is having to be resurfaced.

Bad weather over the past few months has caused the road at Hayling Island to deteriorate.

The road leads to the Inn on the Beach, Sunset cafe and the beach huts.

Andy Lenaghan, councillor for Hayling, said: ‘Access to the area will be available from Beachlands via the beach access road with the diversion route fully signed.

‘The works will be programmed in such a manner to ensure that there will be no road closures or disruptions in this area during the August Bank Holiday weekend.’
