Rowans Hospice charity shops to open in Hayling Island and Leigh Park

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help staff two new Rowans Hospice charity stores.

The Rowans Hospice Trading Company is expanding its stores and will be opening shops in Hayling Island and Leigh Park.

Hayley Hamlett, volunteer services manager, said: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for people to get involved with helping their local hospice, but not by volunteering in the hospice itself.

‘By giving just one morning or afternoon a week it would make a difference to someone’s life.

‘Our volunteers are an important part of the success of the trading company and they are very much appreciated and supported in their role.’

All of the profits made from the store are donated back to the Purbrook hospice.

Last year around £300,000 was raised from shop and warehouse sales.
