Parents say thanks

THE parents of a man critically injury in Borneo have thanked people who helped them get to his bedside.

As reported, Jane and Johnny Dukes, from Hayling Island, were making a three -hour journey on six buses to visit their son Terry, who is in a critical condition in the Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.

Vince Faithfull, who runs A&V Trade Sales, in Victoria Road South, Southsea, appealed for help giving them lifts and 10 people came forward. Johnny, 85, said: ‘These people have been wonderful. We don’t know any of them but they have made things so much easier. We are very grateful.’
