POLICE fined a camper after a row at a campsite.

An argument which broke out between two groups of people at The Oven, in Manor Road, Hayling Island escalated and spilled out on to the road.

The police were called at around 11pm on Friday after the groups clashed.

A 36-year-old man from Staines, in Surrey, was arrested on suspicion of affray. He was given an £80 fixed penalty notice ticket.
