Have you got the talent for HIADS?

By KATIE STEVENS THE Station Theatre is looking for new talent. So, HIADS will be holding open auditions for Gethsemane, a new play by David Hare.

First premiered at the National Theatre, London in November 2008, Gethsemane delves into how sex, drugs, rock-and-roll, political scandal, business and the media are intertwined in a corrupt world.

Open auditions will be held on Monday, July 26, at 7.30pm at the Station Theatre in Station Road.

Hayling Island Amateur Dramatics Society are looking for:-

A girl aged 18-plus who can convince an audience that she is really a petulant 16-year-old.

Many other good roles are up for grabs for keen actors of either sex from 30 to 50 years old.

Gethsemane is a brilliant, up-to-the-minute play, which contains adult content, and will run for one week in early October.
