Driver walks away uninjured from Hayling Island car crash

A YOUNG driver walked away unscathed after his car overturned and crashed into a wall.

The driver of the small blue Fiat Panda lost control of the vehicle in Havant Road, Hayling, just before midnight last night.

The car landed on it’s roof after smashing into the driveway wall of a house.

Passers-by watched in amazement as the driver managed to haul himself out before emergency services arrived.

Neighbours said crashes regularly occur on that stretch of busy Havant Road, about a quarter of a mile south of the Esso petrol station.
