Coffee morning for Macmillan
Peter and Gusti Taylor are again opening the doors of their Sandy Point home and hosting their annual Macmillan coffee morning next monh.
This year's motto is "Put a smile on your mug" and the couple will be ably assisted by Island caterer Angie Driscoll who has organised the popluar fundraiser for the cancer care nursing charity.
There will be a raffle, a bring-and-buy table, excellent bathmats at a very special price, books, plants, guess-the-weight-of-the-cake competition.
Northney Ice Cream will be on sale and there will be plenty other ways of spending your money for a truly good cause.
The coffee morning takes place at The Haven in Wittering Road, on Friday, September 24, from 9:30-11:30am. Entrance costs 1 and includes a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake.
