Book launch at St Mary's
HAYLING author Elizabeth Cole will be launching her book Jane, Maid Of The Islands on Saturday, August 14.
Her book is a fictional account of the life and times of her great great grandmother "Guernsey Lil".
The author comes from a long-established Hayling family which included her great uncle Ebenezer Cole, the last saltmaker on the Island.
You can hear more about the book and the research involved in writing it at 6pm at St Mary's Church Hall.
