Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White heads to Hayling Island to shows his skills
CHEF Marco Pierre White
CELEBRITY chef Marco Pierre White was due to be at a hotel in Hayling Island today, showcasing some of his favourite dishes.
The Michelin-starred chef was set to be at the Sinah Warren Hotel to hold cooking demonstrations for its 20 in-house chefs.
Marco was then going to answer questions on his cooking philosophy, style and favourite ingredients. He is working with Warner Leisure Hotels Group to inspire its menus using a selection of ingredients.
Marco is one of the UK’s most famous chefs. Other big culinary names such as Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal once worked for him.
After being brought up in Leeds and leaving school with no qualifications, Marco decided he wanted to train as a chef.
He began in the kitchen of the Hotel St George in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and became head chef and joint-owner of Harveys in London by the age of 24.
At 33, he became the youngest chef to be awarded three coveted Michelin stars.
